Christmas Gift Ideas Under £20 for Her ..

Ho Ho Hello again,

It's getting to that time of year where we show the special people in our lives how much we love them, so why do you get them a little something special that you know they will love?! Here are a few ideas of mine that any girl/woman would love to receive this christmas (I know I would, hint hint wink wink Sam).

First up is this beautiful mini Benefit Crescent Row Limited Edition perfume set! How cute do they look? I have had 'My Place or Your's Gina' before and it smells amazing. This would be great for any benefit lover or perfume lover! You can get this for £19.50 www.debenhams.com

Next is a Skinny Dip London phone case. These make great stocking fillers for all ages! They range from £12 uperwards and you can get your hands on this love heart one for £12.00 www.skinnydiplondon.com

These little bath fizzers are from Zoella's Christmas Beauty range. They're beautiful as is the jar that you can re-use afterwards! They are only £9.00  www.superdrug.com

Next up is another fragrance and this is from the Library of Fragrance and it's Christmas in New York (I can only imagine that would smell bloody amazing) you can get this and a whole lot more fragrances for £15.00 thelibraryoffragrance.com

I so want these - it's the 'so tweet' pyjamas from George at ASDA. We have the tradition, along with many I'm sure, that we get special Christmas pjs every year and these would do the job! They're £15 direct.asda.com

Books make brilliant gifts and this one has a little bit of everything in it, it's Tanya Burr's book, Love Tanya. It has a sections about her life, baking and how to increase your confidence. I already have this book so I am personally recommending it especially if that special person in your life likes her YouTubers. Right now it £9.74 www.waterstones.com

Last up is a Beauty Box Subscription, I recommend Glossy box as I have been getting these for the last few months and I've never been disappointed. You can choose a subscription plan and again, this would be perfect for all ages! You can find out more here www.glossybox.co.uk and subscriptions start at £10.00 plus £3.25 postage and packaging.

I hope this helps you with your Christmas shopping, we all know it can get very stressful! But try and remember it's a happy festive time of year that should be enjoyed!

The Christmas Tag!

Ho Ho Hello again!!

I've seen a few of these kind of posts going around and as I am a MASSIVE Christmas fan, I thought I would do it too! So jingle my bells and off we go (cheeky) ..

1. What is your favourite Christmas film?

My Favourite Christmas film is The Santa Claus. I used to watch this every year when I was little (I still do) and my dad used to work away in America, but I remember one year he was away just up to Christmas and he brought me back a princess hat which was just like one out of the film and I was absolutely chuffed!!

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

YES! But the past few years haven't been - damn global warming!

3. Where do you usually spend your Christmas?

At home with Sam and April. Then for boxing day we go to my Gran and Grandads in St Andrews where all of my family from my Mum's side go. I've been going there for as long as I can remember but it'll be stopping soon because they're going to be selling up (it's a B&B and they are retiring).

4. What is your favourite Christmas song?

Wham - Last Christmas! Bloody Brilliant!

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Sometimes ...

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Rudolph, Comet, Cupid, Prancer, Dancer, blizten ... no.

7. What Christmas traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

Just seeing April open her presents from Santa.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake sadly, I would love to get a real tree one year.

9. What is your all-time favourite Christmas food/sweet treat?

My Grandma's Dumpling! It's a cake-like thing full of raisins and stuff. It's Lovely!

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

Giving - I like to put a lot of thought into the presents I give.

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

I can't choose!!

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the festive season?

I would hate to go away over Christmas as I always think it should be sent at home. But in the lead up to Christmas I would love to take April to Lapland to meet Santa.

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

Pro-wrapper!!

14. Most memorable Christmas moment?

When my mum used to come to our house (parents and divorced) dressed as Santa every Christmas morning. Some times if not all of the times, she used to walk from her work dressed in the costume. That's love!

15. What made you realise the truth about Santa?

I think someone at school told me.

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

Yes and No! I always try my best though!

17. What makes the festive period special for you?

Just spending time with family. At the end of the day it's not about what you get or what you eat (don't get me wrong, the food is amazing) but It's who is around your table! Family is everything to me!!

So that is my Christmas Tag! Hopefully you've got to know a little bit more about me.
If you do this tag or any Christmas Tag please leave your links below as I'd love to read them!!

My ASOS Curve Christmas Jumper Picks!

Ho Ho Hello again,

Today's post is going to be my first ever fashion post (I thought I should probably start as my blog states it's about Life, Beauty and Fashion) so as it's almost Christmas I thought I'd do a post solely on Festive Christmas jumpers!! So if that sounds right up your alley then here you go! (I say sole jumpers, there's one sneaky tee in there - just a little disclaimer, I have not been asked to do this post, all views are my own).

All of these items are from the ASOS Curve range as I am a bigger girly but they do have some great Christmas jumpers in smaller sizes as I feel everyone should own at least one festive jumper!!

There's so many options, I don't know what one to choose, what one would you choose??

Me Time and a Lush Bath Bomb Review - Skydancer

Hello Again,

Today's post is a slightly different kind of post. I've been quite stressed out for a couple of weeks now just with a mixture of work and home life so I've been trying to find good ways just to relax and find time for myself. You will all probably be able to relate as everyone is busy especially at the time of year, I get up 6.00am most mornings (some days my snooze button is my best friend) and I'm on my feet all day, then when I get home I'm still running around until April is in bed. Then I think oh I can kick my feet up, but the realisation is it's then time to do my housework and put away those toys which I'm sure I'd already put away about 43 times! So I have decided that at least one day throughout the week I am going to take at least an hour to either simply paint my nails or watch some YouTube or what I did tonight, have a long soak in the bath!

So I decided to use my limited edition Skydancer bath bomb from lush (which I have only just found out from the lovely people at Lush via twitter that this is still available online - hello more Skydancer's). I have been meaning to use this for ages now and I'm so glad I finally did. Here's a little bit about the bath bomb from a previous post of mine:

(Excuse the chipped nail varnish)

Next up is the Skydancer - Far from the Madding Guns Bath Bomb which is a charity bath bomb. All profits go towards satellite tagging hen harrier chicks - which I'm happy doing my little bit! This smells so fresh and amazing with little hints of aniseed. I love the design of this too - the yellow with the blue bird in front is so captivating.
'Profits from each and every one of these soft floral and liquorice-scented bath bombs will help fund equipment to satellite tag any endangered hen harrier chicks born in the coming years. With bergamot, Sicilian lemon and cinnamon leaf oils, this bath bomb with take you under its wing and fight wildlife crime in one clean sweep.'

As soon as it hut the water it was like the hen harrier was flying free! My bathroom all of sudden was full of the smell of lemon which I ABSOLUTELY loved!! When I got in it already made my skin feel so soft, I just slid into a sicilian, liquoricey (if that's a even word) heaven. That's what Lush have nailed - they make products that they know will help people relax, products that take all the weight of your shoulders and help you feel great!! So for that - Thank you!

So if you are like me and feel completely over whelmed and are desperate for some 'me' time, go to Lush grab some products (maybe some christmassy ones) and have a bath!

That totally turned into a Bath and a Lush appreciation post - not even sorry!

I'd love to hear what Lush Product is your favourite? Also what do you do when you're having some 'me' time?
